The Ice-O-Matic MFI1506A is a high-capacity, air-cooled flake ice machine designed for commercial operations that demand consistent, efficient ice production. Ideal for grocery stores, healthcare facilities, seafood displays, and other applications requiring soft, moldable flake ice, this unit delivers up to 1450 lb of ice per day.
Built with a durable stainless steel exterior and interior, the MFI1506A ensures long-lasting performance and hygiene. It features a self-contained condenser and is hardwired for secure electrical connection. The system includes SystemSafe load monitoring to prevent damage from excessive loads and a smart LED cleaning alert indicator for timely maintenance.
This model operates at 208/230 V, 1 Phase, 60 Hz, drawing 15.8 amps, and uses R404A refrigerant. It is Energy Star rated and cULus Listed, NSF Approved, and ISO 9001 Certified. It consumes 3.2 kWh per 100 lb of ice and uses approximately 12 gallons of water per day, with a potable water pressure range of 20 to 120 psi. Water inlet size is 3/8 in, and drain size is 3/4 in.
The machine is compatible with bins B25, B40, B42, B55, B110, B700, B1000, B1300, B1325, and B1660, and with water filters IFQ2 and IOMQ2. It installs directly on top of compatible bins or dispensers. Dimensions are 21" W x 24" D x 27" H. 3 years parts & labor warranty on the ice maker, 5 years parts on the evaporator and compressor.
