The Ice-O-Matic GEM1306A is a commercial-grade, air-cooled nugget ice machine ideal for healthcare facilities, quick-service restaurants, and hospitality venues that require soft, chewable ice. Designed for top-mounted bin installations, it combines reliable ice production with energy efficiency and durable stainless-steel construction.
This unit produces up to 1,350 lb of nugget ice per day, using 12 gallons of water and 3.5 kWh of power per 100 lb. It runs on 208/230V, 1 Phase, drawing 15.8 amps and rejecting 11,845 BTU/hr. The machine is fully air-cooled and self-contained, eliminating the need for a separate condenser unit. It operates efficiently in ambient temperatures ranging from 50°F to 100°F, with a potable water pressure range of 20–120 psi.
Measuring 21" W x 24" D x 27" H, the GEM1306A features a ¾" drain and 3/8" water inlet, with a 7/8" junction box for wiring. It is compatible with a wide range of storage bins (including B25 to B1660 series) and supports filters like IFQ2 and IOMQ2 for enhanced water quality. A Smart LED Cleaning Alert ensures timely maintenance.
Certified by ETL, NSF, ISO, and ETL Sanitation, the unit comes backed with a 3-year parts and labor warranty on the ice maker and 5-year parts coverage on the evaporator and compressor.
