PolarBox Series 8' x 15' Walk-In Cooler & Freezer Combo with Floor & Remote Refrigeration

The PolarBox Series Walk-In Cooler & Freezer Combo is an 8' x 15' unit designed for commercial kitchen operations handling cold and frozen storage. It features white galvanized steel construction with 24-gauge panels and a galvanized steel floor. The unit measures 177" (L) x 98" (W) x 91" (H), supporting indoor and outdoor installation.

This walk-in combination includes a 10 ft cooler section and a 5 ft freezer section, configured as one medium temperature and one low temperature compartment. It features two solid swing doors with a height of 77", keyed locks, and self-closing, flush-mounted design. The modular cam-lock and tongue-and-groove construction supports panel assembly and structure.

The unit uses polyurethane insulation with 4" thickness and thermal resistance rated at R-28 for the cooler and R-33 for the freezer. It includes heating wire and a pressure relief vent for the freezer section. The floor is constructed of standard galvanized steel, supporting storage load in food handling environments.

This unit operates on 208/230 V, 1 phase, 60 Hz and uses remote refrigeration with an outdoor condensing unit and included evaporator. It uses refrigerants R404A, R407C, and R448A/R449A with an air-cooled system and Copeland scroll compressor. It is hardwired for installation. It includes a 10-year panel warranty, 1-year door parts warranty, 2-year compressor and parts warranty, and 1-year labor on the refrigeration unit by the manufacturer.
