The Hoshizaki DCM-500BWH-OS cubelet ice maker and hands-free dispenser is water-cooled with a built-in storage bin. It measures 26" (W) x 22-1/2" (D) x 40" (H) and produces up to 590 lbs. of ice per day. It stores up to 40 lbs. (1.3 cu. ft.) of small cubelet nugget-style ice. The stainless steel exterior ensures durability. It can be placed on a countertop or an optional stand (SD-450, SD-500).
The LED remote sensor enables hands-free operation with opaque containers. The CleanCycle12™ system purges the unit every 12 hours for 15 minutes to remove sediment. It uses R-404A refrigerant (11.5 oz. / 325 g). The unit operates within an ambient temperature range of 45 – 100°F and a water temperature range of 45 – 90°F. Water pressure ranges from 10 – 113 psig.
It requires a 115V, single-phase electrical connection with 12.6 amps and a 20-amp max fuse. Energy consumption is 4.48 kWh per 100 lbs. at 90/70 conditions. It has a 1/2" FPT water inlet and a 3/8" FPT drain outlet. The unit weighs 255 lbs. Made in America. It includes a 3-year parts and labor warranty on the entire machine and a 5-year parts warranty on the compressor and air-cooled condenser coil.
